Hi, I’m Josh Stewart
I am a local Tybee photographer who specializes in family portraits and elopements. For fun I also do landscape photography. For the past 8 years I’ve been shooting non-stop.
Whether I’m behind the camera or at the computer my heart is going into it, no matter what that is. I love making my clients smile both during the shoot and after they receive the final photos. Needless to say, I love what I do.
On a more personal level, when I’m not shooting photos you can find me playing Stardew Valley with my girlfriend, reading about the latest break throughs in physics, or enjoying a day at the beach. Prior to photography I worked in pharmacy and majored in psychology/neuroscience at Georgia State University. Yes, I am a huge nerd.

Cameras: Precision and Quality

Paired with high-quality 14mm, 24-70mm, and 85mm lenses, this setup achieves stunning results, from expansive landscapes to intimate close-ups. And for low-light or dynamic environments, my Godox V100 flash adds reliable, high-quality lighting to ensure every detail shines.
Hardware: Power Behind The Process
A high-performance computer equipped with a powerful graphics card and advanced and precise peripherals is essential for processing and perfecting images. Displaying these images are two professionally color calibrated monitors to ensure color and contrast accuracy for both displaying online and printing.
Editing: The Finishing Touches
Professional software, Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, is used to refine and enhance each image. Whether it’s bringing out the warmth of natural light or retouching fine details, the editing process transforms raw captures into vibrant, timeless photographs that reflect the beauty of the original moment.
